Coffeezilla Exposes Hailey Welch’s HAWK Meme

A new meme coin, HAWK, launched by viral influencer Hailey Welch, quickly became the center of a storm after its dramatic rise and fall on Wednesday.

In the ongoing Hailey Welch X space talk regarding the memecoin clash, Coffeezilla, who is known for exposing crypto scams, didn’t hold back describing the HAWK launch as “one of the most miserable and horrible” events he had ever witnessed, leaving investors reeling from millions in losses.

Welch denied any wrongdoing, claiming that no free tokens were handed out to her team or influential promoters.

Coffeezilla further pointed to insider trading and sniping, questioning Welch and her team’s actions during the launch. The situation quickly escalated when Coffeezilla was suddenly removed from the space.

In response, he tweeted, “Holy shit. HAWK team won’t let anyone up and just called crypto holders ‘mentally ill.’” He further mocked the situation, saying, “Now he’s saying he’s mentally ill for talking on the space. You guys should be kissing my ass.”

Rapid Rise and Shocking Fall

HAWK, launched on the Solana-based Meteora platform, initially surged to a market cap of nearly $425 million. However, the excitement was short-lived as the token plummeted by 91%, dropping to just $30 million in a matter of hours. As of now, HAWK is trading at about $48 million, still far below its peak value.

As anger grows, many investors are calling for accountability. Some are even considering legal action, with one community note humorously suggesting that Welch might soon have to “talk tuah” with a judge about the scandal.
